Team
In this section, you'll learn how to manage your team in the app, add new members, and assign roles and permissions. All functions require the rights of a Dispatcher or Admin.
Adding Team Members
New members can be added by the Admin or Dispatcher.
Here's how:
- Select "Team" in the left navigation column.
- Click the blue "Add Staff" button in the upper right corner.
Note
- This feature is available only to users with the appropriate rights. If you don't see the button, please contact your administrator.
- Enter the correct email address for the new team member (preferably a work email), as the invitation will be sent there.
- Specify the profession and role of the new member in the remote workflow.
The new team member will receive an invitation via email and can sign in using the included link to set their own password.
Managing Roles and Permissions
As an Admin or Dispatcher, you can adjust the roles and permissions of your team members through the settings under "Team." Only users with these specific rights have access to these functions.
Here's how:
- Go to "Team" in the left navigation.
- Select the desired person and click on the three dots next to their name.
- Choose "Edit User."
Customization Options:
- Change Role: Use "Profession" to set the job title and thus the role within the team, such as whether someone should act as a Local or Remote Operator.
- Set Permissions: Under "Permissions in organization," you can assign roles like Dispatcher.
Don't forget to save your changes by clicking "Save changes." The modifications will be immediately visible to the affected user.
Managing Your Team
As an admin, you have various options for managing your team:
- Reset Password: In the team overview, select the corresponding team member, click on the three dots next to their name, and choose "Reset Password."
- Modify Members: You can make changes to a team member's profile at any time, such as updating their job title or role.
- Remove Members: If a team member needs to leave the team, you can also remove them using the three dots.
With these functions, you maintain full control over your team and ensure that everyone has the appropriate rights and roles.
