Permissions in the Session

In a session, there are two essential roles, each with specific tasks and responsibilities: Local Operator and Remote Operator. Here's an overview of both roles and their functions:

Local Operator

The Local Operator takes care of all tasks on-site at the scanner and is responsible for the smooth execution of the examination.

  • Session Management: The Local Operator opens and closes the session. The Remote Operator can only enter the session after being authorized by the Local Operator.
  • Connection Management: The Local Operator can remove the Remote Operator from the session at any time by disconnecting them from the scanner.

Remote Operator

The Remote Operator/Guest can establish remote access to the scanner within a session to provide assistance or conduct examinations without being physically present.

Note

The session is always initiated and closed by the Local Operator. The Remote Operator/Guest can participate in the session only after approval by the Local Operator and can be removed by the Local Operator as needed.
