Chat

The chat in our app allows communication within your organization and during sessions. Here's how you can send messages and files, as well as set up the auto-delete function.

Chat Access

The chat can be accessed in two ways:

  • In the App: Via the navigation bar on the left side.
  • During a Session: In the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

Writing and Sending Messages

  1. Enter a Message: Click in the "Type a message ..." field and type your message.
  2. Send Message: Click the arrow to the right of the text field.

Sending Files

  1. Attach a File: Click on the paperclip icon 📎 to the left of the text field.
  2. Select a File: Navigate to the file location, choose the file, and click "Open." The file will now appear in the chat.
  3. Modify or Delete a File (optional): Click the "x" in the upper right corner of the file to remove it.

Only one file can be sent at a time, with a limit of 50 MB per file.

Deleting Messages and Enabling Auto-Delete

  • Delete Message: Click on the trash can icon 🗑️ to the right of the message to remove it. You can only delete your own messages.
  • Enable Auto-Delete: As an administrator, you can specify the time after which chats are automatically deleted:
    1. Go to "Org Admin": Click on the "Org Admin" tab in the menu bar.
    2. Open "Organization Settings": Select "Organization Settings."
    3. Activate Settings: Scroll to "Delete session chats after session ending" and "Delete private chats," and enable the functions using the slider. Set the desired duration for chat deletion.
